After the release of the two Diamond Tape albums Naww G releases his second studio mix-tape "HESAYHEFROMBROOKLYNBUTHEREALLYFROMHEMPSTEAD  following his first mix-tape "IWROTETHISONTHEBACKOFA100DOLLARBILLWALKINGOUTTHECHECKCASHINGPLACE". The mix-tape's name is inspired by a speech J.Cole gave to a concert crowd about a fan whom wanted to hand off his music to Cole. The fan was from Hempstead but said he was from Brooklyn and Naww G was born in Brooklyn but raised in Hempstead, thus the album name.
